Identifying who the “ROCK” is in the gospel

And there is no other Rock of salvation, Stone, or Foundation

There Is No Other Rock!

Isaiah 44:6-8

“Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel, and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts:
‘I am the First and I am the Last; besides Me there is no God.
And who can proclaim as I do? Then let him declare it and set it in order for Me,
Since I appointed the ancient people. And the things that are coming and shall come,
Let them show these to them.
Do not fear, nor be afraid; have I not told you from that time, and declared it?
You are My witnesses. Is there a God besides Me?
Indeed there is no other Rock; I know not one.’”

  • 1 Corinthians 10:1-12
    “Moreover, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware that all our fathers were under the cloud, all passed through the sea, all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, all ate the same spiritual food, and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ.”

    Deuteronomy 32:4
    He is the Rock, His work is perfect;
    For all His ways are justice,
    A God of truth and without injustice;
    Righteous and upright is He.”

    Luke 6:47-49
    “Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the Rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the Rock. But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.”

    1 Corinthians 3:11
    “For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is YAHSHUA the Messiah.” Rejoice for Christ is our Rock, our Chief Cornerstone, and He alone is our only foundation.

    Ephesians 2:20-22
    “Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, YAHSHUA the Messiah Himself being the Chief Cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a Holy Temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.”

    Genesis 49:24
    “But his bow remained in strength,
    And the arms of his hands were made strong
    By the hands of the Mighty God of Jacob
    (From there is the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel)...”

    Psalm 28:1
    A Psalm of David. ‘To You I will cry, O LORD my Rock:
    Do not be silent to me,
    Lest, if You are silent to me,
    I become like those who go down to the pit.’”

    Numbers 20:8-11
    “’Take the rod; you and your brother Aaron gather the congregation together. Speak to the rock before their eyes, and it will yield its water; thus you shall bring water for them out of the rock, and give drink to the congregation and their animals.’ So Moses took the rod from before the YHWH as He commanded him. And Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock; and he said to them, ‘Hear now, you rebels! Must we bring water for you out of this rock?’ Then Moses lifted his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod; and water came out abundantly, and the congregation and their animals drank.”

    2 Samuel 22:2
    “And he said: ‘The LORD is my Rock and my fortress and my deliverer...’”

    Psalm 18:2
    “The LORD is my Rock and my fortress and my deliverer;
    My God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
    My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”

    Psalm 62:1-2
    “Truly my soul silently waits for God;
    He only is my Rock and my salvation;
    He is my defense;
    I shall not be greatly moved.”

    Psalm 62:5-8

    “My soul, wait silently for God alone,
    For my expectation is from Him.
    He only is my Rock and my salvation;
    He is my defense;
    I shall not be moved.
    In God is my salvation and my glory;
    The Rock of my strength,
    And my refuge, is in God. Trust in Him at all times, you people;
    Pour out your heart before Him;
    God is a refuge for us. Selah”

    Matthew 7:24-25

    "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the Rock, and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the Rock.”

Isaiah 12:2

“Behold, God is my salvation,
I will trust and not be afraid; For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song;
He also has become my salvation.’”
