FEW THERE BE THAT FIND THE NAME OF SALVATION!
“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad isthe way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it”(Matthew 7:13-14). There are few who will find the name of salvation!
THERE IS NO OTHER NAME!
Then the apostle Peter (in Acts 4:8), filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers of the people and elders of Israel... Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other nameunder heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). The revealed name of YAHSHUA versus the common Aramaic name of Yeshua, which was transliterated into the Greek name “Iesous.” And it became the Latin name “Iesus,” which is found in the 1604 and 1611 King James Version Bible, which of course is in English. With the much later addition of the letter ‘J’ into the English alphabet, comes yet another linguistic change from “Iesus” to “Jesus.” These names: Jesus, Iesus, and Iesous were never revealed from God, and therefore, God never gave any of those names to us. Jesus, Iesus, and Iesous are counterfeit names! It is true: “...Satan, who deceives the whole world…” (Revelation 12:9). The name Jesus is only from the 17th century! Before the year 1611, the name Jesus is not found in any Bible. Ernest Renan, scholar, and historian, acknowledges that the Savior was never in His lifetime known as “Jesus” (see The Life of Jesus, p. 90). Before the 17th century the name Jesus did not exist.
The Name of YAHSHUA Forbidden!
“Now when they (The Sanhedrin Council of the Jews) saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with YAHSHUA. And seeing the man who had been healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it. But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves, saying, ‘What shall we do to these men? For, indeed, that a notable miracle has been done through them is evident to all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it. But so that it spreads no further among the people, let us severely threaten them, that from now on they speak to no man in this name.” So they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of YAHSHUA. But Peter and John answered and said to them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard” (Acts 4:13-20). Did the disciples hear the name which is above every name (YAH) in the name of Christ?
Prayers Answered, and Miracles in the name of Jesus
Many object, and say, “I have prayed in the name of Jesus, and my prayers were answered.” Or, “I have seen miracles in the name of Jesus, so don’t tell me His name is not Jesus!” Well then take this warning from the Savior: Matthew 7:21-23, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” It is clear, that to those Christ told to depart, they saw prophesying, demons cast out, and many wonders, miracles, but still, the Savior told them to depart. Because, they did things their own way, despite the doing them in the name of Jesus, but not according to the will of God, and thus they were castigated as ones that practiced lawlessness. Because the Savior has the name which is above every name (Philippians 2:9), and therefore, to reject the name YAHSHUAis to stand condemned (John 3:18).
THE NAME WHICH IS ABOVE EVERY NAME IS: YAH!
It is evident that YAH is found in the Dead Sea Scrolls. According to Manuscript 4Q120-4QpapLXXLevb shows Iota, Alpha, Omega, transliteration: YAW. This clearly shows that the vowel pointing with "Yeh" is erroneous. This indicates a later vowel pointing of the added 'e' from the word Eloah, as these vowel points were added, and definitely not the original vowel point of 'a', as a means to hide, not pronounce, the name (YAH), but say, "Adonai," instead. It is important to note that the "Omega" in Greek does not produce the sound of a "Vav", or more like "v", but a 'W', as in Waw. "Omega" is comparable to the English word "raw." In the Book: The Complete Dead Sea Scrolls in English, p. 472, we find, "...It is worth noting in Lev. iv, 27 (4q120, fr. 20, 4) the Tetragram (YAH) is rendered semi-phonetically as IAO, and is not replaced, as was customary later, by the Greek "Kurios" (Lord)." And yet, curious enough, the attempt to use a late manuscript... Leningrad Codex, Aleppo Codex (both 10th Century C.E. MSS) as the proof for Jeh, or Yeh, and yet we have in the Dead Sea Scrolls YAH going back to the 1st century, as written in Greek indicating later changes of Yeh from the true YAH. YAH is "the name which is above every name." Our savior told the Jews that He is YAH (John 8:58). Paul said that Christ has "the name which is above every name" (Philippians 2:9), and the apostle Paul further explained, in Philippians 2:11, that "every tongue," every language, is to know this one name, YAHSHUA!" If one still insists on the name Yeshua, then the following names are counterfeits: Jesus, Iesus, Iesous...etc. And these names must be rejected.
MOSES ASKS FOR GODS NAME
“Then Moses said to God, ‘Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?” And God said to Moses, “HAYAH ASHAR HAYAH” (“I AM WHO I AM”). And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM {YAH} has sent me to you.’” Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations’” (Exodus 3:13-15). HALLELUYAH, Praise YAH, Praise YAHSHUA! Halleluyah! And again, I say, Praise YAH!
The Name Which is Above Every Name is YAH [I AM], which is in our Savior’s name
The apostle Paul on the road to Damascus heard the Savior tell him His name in Hebrew (Acts 26:12-16). He heard YAH-SHUA, YAH which means “I AM,” and Shua, which means “my help,” as in my “salvation.” This is the testimony to the name of YAH in the name of Christ. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of YAHSHUA every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that YAHSHUA the Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:9-11).
EVERY TONGUE, LANGUAGE, should confess that YAHSHUA is LORD!
Objection: “It is about the Person, not the name.”
This objection is false! For the Scriptures say, “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:18).
Will you deny the prophet Isaiah, who testified to the name YAH, the name which is above every name, the very name of our salvation, “Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation’” (Isaiah 12:2 NKJV).
“YAHSHUA” IS THE ONLY NAME OF SALVATION ACCORDING TO THE REVELATION OF GOD, ANDTHIS BECAUSE HE HAS “THE NAME WHICH IS ABOVE EVERY NAME!” To know the one name by which we must be saved, we cannot rely on the word of man, but only on the word of God. For mankind has not retained in his knowledge the name of salvation revealed from God. “But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God’” (Matthew 4:4). “And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord YAHSHUA, giving thanks to God the Father through Him” (Colossians 3:17).
Objection: God has many names! False: “And God spoke to Moses and said to him: “I am the Lord. I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as EL SHADDAI, but by My name Lord {YAH} I was not known to them” (Exodus 6:2-3). Proper formal name YAHOSHUA.
