WARNINGS FROM THE NEW TESTAMENT!
The essence of the gospel (the good news) and awarning: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:16-18).
Does Christ have many names?
The apostle Peter testifies to the name, which is a name revealed from Heaven, “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). There is no other name for the Savior, only the name revealed from the Father, and not to be subjugated to linguistic evolution, which caused the names of Jesus, Iesus, Iesous, and not to mention “Hey-zeus,” or “Isa,” as these names are all counterfeits, and these names are of the tradition of men! The Savior has been given a name from Heaven, therefore, there can be no other name given to the Savior, and certainly not according to the traditions of men, or changed due to languages. When the Sanhedrin (Jewish council of the leadership in Jerusalem) heard the name of the Savior from the apostle Peter, they reacted with hostility. “And seeing the man who had been healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it. But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves, saying, ‘What shall we do to these men? For, indeed, that a notable miracle has been done through them is evident to all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it. But so that it spreads no further among the people, let us severely threaten them, that from now on they speak to no man in this name’” (Acts 4:14-17).
What is it about the name of Christ that caused the Sanhedrin to react to the name of the Savior spoken by the apostles with such hostility?
The Jews hid the name of God since the Babylonian invasion. In the year 605 B.C., Babylon invaded Judah and conquered the kingdom (2 Kings 24:10). Many, mostly the youth of the aristocracy, were taken away to Babylon to serve Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon. They, the Babylonian soldiers and the Jewish captives, marched toward Babylon, but the fear of the Babylonian soldiers was that the captives might die along the way due to their depression, fear, and an unwillingness to eat. The Babylonian soldiers, fearful of king Nebuchadnezzar, thought that if they wouldsing a song about Zion, the Jews would feel better, however, despite the Jews feeling compelled to obey, their reaction was, as recorded in Psalm 137:1-4, “By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept when we remembered Zion. We hung our harps upon the willows in the midst of it. For there those who carried us away captive asked of us a song, and those who plundered us requested mirth, saying, ‘Sing us one of the songs of Zion!’ How shall we sing Yahweh's song In a foreign land?” In other words, “How do we sing the Lord’s name among the Heathen, who would profane the name thereby taking it in vain, and thus breaking the commandment of God.” From 605 B.C. onward, the Jews have sought to hide the name of God (YAH) from the Gentiles even unto this day.
Where did the essential and only name of God come from?
Moses asks for God’s name. “Then Moses said to God, ‘Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?” And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, [HAYAH ASHAR HAYAH]‘I AM {YAH} has sent me to you.’ Moreover God said to Moses, ‘Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This {YAH} is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations’” (Exodus 3:13-15). Despite the efforts of the Jews to hide the essential name of God, YAH, we still say universally around the world, “Halleluyah,” which means, “Praise YAH!” YAH means “I AM.” Therefore, the name of God comes from Heaven. The name of God is not to be subjected to human linguistic evolution, which will and has changed the very revealed name of God! YAH is ‘the name which is above every name’.YAH is the essential name of God our Savior. Around the whole world the Hebrew expression is the same: “HALLELUYAH!” This means, “Praise YAH!” This then is the name which is above every name.
Did the apostle Paul’s testimony of what happened on the road to Damascus where he heard from the Lord Himself ‘the name which is above every name’ {YAH} when the then Saul asked for His name?
The name of Jesus has only existed from the 17thcentury, as we look at the 1611 English Version of the Bible, we do not see the name Jesus (Gee-sus), we see, in historical fact, the name Iesus (ee-sus). The apostle Paul never knew, or heard, of the names: Jesus, Iesus, or Iesous. According to noted Historian Ernest Renan, “The Savior was never in His lifetime known as Jesus, (The Life of Jesus, p. 90). The apostle Paul gives his testimony to king Agrippa, herecounts his conversion: “While thus occupied, as I journeyed to Damascus with authority and commission from the chief priests, at midday, O king, along the road I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining around me and those who journeyed with me. And when we all had fallen to the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me and saying in the Hebrew language, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’ So I said, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ And He said, ‘I am YAHSHUA, whom you are persecuting. But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you. I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and fromthe power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me’” (Acts 26:12-18).
How do we know that the apostle Paul heard the name YAHSHUA?
The apostle Paul acknowledged that he heard in Hebrew “the name which is above every name” {YAH} when he wrote to the Philippians that Christhas “the name which is above every name,” for he writes, “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of YAHSHUA every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that YAHSHUA the Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:9-11). Every tongue, every language, is to know and pronounce this name “YAHSHUA.”
It is time to bring back the true Gospel revealed to the apostles, who were of the Nazareans (Acts 24:5), in order to bring glory to His name YAHSHUA! “But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds (Satan) the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. For we do not preach ourselves, but the Christ YAHSHUA the Lord, and ourselves your bond-servants for YAHSHUA’S sake. For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of YAHSHUA the Christ” (2 Corinthians 4:3-6 NKJV). “And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in Heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him” (Revelation 12:7-9). So now the whole world has these counterfeit names, as Satan laughs at their deception. Counterfeit names held by the traditions of men.
Satan deceives the whole world! The Savior said, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it” (Matthew 7:13-14). The Lord, apparently addresses the leadership, pastors, deacons, teachers, and evangelists of the Christian churches when He says, in Matthew 7:21-23, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” Did you catch the rebuttal given by these so called workers for Christ? “Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name?” Clearly they, the many, the majority, did not!
Lawlessness is holding to your own, or the man-madetraditions, or revelations, not of God. “He answered and said to them, ‘Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written:
‘This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me.
And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’
For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men—the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other such things you do.’ He said to them, ‘All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition’” (Mark 7:6-9).
Why do the many teach in counterfeit names not revealed from God? Names like Jesus and Jehovah? In this our age today, most Christians hold to the traditions of men making void the word of God. To truly love God and the brethren, we must obey His revelations and commandments. “But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord YAHSHUA, giving thanks to God the Father through Him” (Colossians 3:14-17). “...And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, YAHSHUA the Messiah, the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world” (1 John 1-2). “And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son YAHSHUAthe Messiah and love one another, as He gave us commandment” (1 John 3:22-23). And now a warning from the Old Testament:
“If you will not hear,And if you will not take it to heart,To give glory to My name,”Says the Lord {YAH} of hosts,
“I will send a curse upon you,And I will curse your blessings.Yes, I have cursed them already,Because you do not take it to heart” (Malachi 2:2).
How do we give glory to the revealed name of God, when we do not know God’s revealed name? We are to know Him by His revealed name, therefore, we cannot know Him unless we know His true name, nor can one say, “it is about the Person and not the name. That statement is pure nonsense. “Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked” (1 John 2:3-6).
Many have said that, “God has many names.”Although there is some truth to this, it can be misleading. According to the Bible God has one name, and many so called names which are actually titles. For example a clear distinction is made in Exodus 6:2-3, “And God spoke to Moses and said to him: “I YHWH, I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as El Shaddai, but by My name YAHAWAH[b] I was not known to them.” In the New King James Version, footnote [b] informs us, “Exodus 6:3 Heb. YHWH, traditionally Jehovah,” which is a gross concoction, a euphonious name, a counterfeit name of the worse kind.
“JEHOVAH,” IS THIS THE Revealed Name of God?
Jehovah is widely used. It is considered by many to be hallowed, and it is also endeared by many a beautiful hymn, however, this name was never revealed by God. The name of “Jehovah” is a concoction of man. Therefore, it is a “mongrel,” a “hybrid,” and it is “fantastic” and “monstrous.” The facts have only to be known to justify this verdict.
What are the facts?
Historically, ever since the Babylonian invasion of Judea and the enforced diaspora of its people in 605 B.C., the Jews’ have a strong penchant for hiding the name of God from the Gentiles, and thus preventing the profaning of God’s revealed name. Later, the Catholic Church in the Middle Ages were known to raid Jewish synagogues, take the gold, and the Hebrew Scriptures [the Old Testament], and persecute Jews. The name and pronunciation of“Jehovah,” (and also the name Jesus) was unknown until 1520 A.D., when introduced and propagated by Peter Galatinus, Confessor to Pope Leo X, who noted in the stolen Hebrew Scriptures that there were Hebrew vowels placed onto the four consonants letters of God’s true name, YHWH [pronounced:Yod-Hey-Waw-Hey]. Peter Galatinus (1450-1540) did not know of the Jewish practice of placing vowels from another word, (accordingly one of the following words: Adonai {YaHoWaH}, Eloah {YeHoWaH}, Elohim {YeHoWiH}), and specificallyEloah, which created the name Jehovah. Jehovah is merely a combination of the Tetragrammaton (the four consonants: YHWH) and the vowels from another Hebrew word for God (namely: Eloah) arbitrarily placed onto the Tetragrammaton to remind the Jewish reader not to attempt to say the name of God but to say, “Adonay,” instead.
It should be noted that words in the Hebrew Scriptures contain consonants only, no vowels, so when the Jewish reader would come upon YHWH, God’s name, he would inadvertently attempt to pronounce the name. Therefore vowels were added to remind the reader to say, “Adonay” instead of “the name” (HaShem). Noted Bible scholar J. B. Rotherham, stated, “To give… YHWH (Latin: IHVH {Iehovah} later JHVH {Jehovah} due to the later addition of the letter J in the seventeenth century) the vowels of the word (Eloah) to remind the Jewish reader to say, “Adonay,” and later to pronounce it“Jehovah,’ is about as hybrid a combination as it would be to spell the name of Germany with the vowels of Portugal-viz., Gormuna” (the Emphasized Bible, J. B. Rotherham, 1994, Kregel Publication, Pp. 24-25). Jehovah in its present form has only existed since the seventeenth century. Fact: God’s essential name is YAH, and Bible scholars acknowledge YAHWEH (for YAH, see Strong’s #3050), as in “Praise YAH,” in Hebrew: “Halleluyah.” YAH is the name above every name (Philippians 2:9). YAH is from the root word of HAYAH (I AM). The Savior identified Himself as the I AM (John 8:58). Je-hovah, “hovah” in Hebrew means “RUIN and MISCHIEF,” and “Calamity” (see Strong’s Dictionary of Bible Words #1943). “Jehovah” is a monstrous name that means “Ruin and Mischief.” Besides the vowels of Eloah, the Jews also at times used the vowels of Elohim, producing the false name: “Yehovih” (see Strong’s Dictionary of Bible Words, #3069), which was done to remind the Jewish reader in the synagogues to say, “Adonay” instead of speaking the name of God. YAH has the Hebrew vowel “QAMETS”, which rightly corresponds with the English vowel of A. Jeh is wrong, for it incorporates the Hebrew vowel of “SHEWA”, which corresponds to the English vowel of E. This is due to adding the vowels of Eloah to the Tetragrammaton (YHWH) which becomes Yehovah, as some Jews are now propagating, which deceives the gentiles.
The Jewish Encyclopedia, states, “This name is commonly represented in modern translations by the form Jehovah, which, however, is a philological impossibility” (p. 160). The Jehovah’s Witnesses admittedly make a similar reference that the name Jehovah is inferior (in their Book: Let Your Name be Sanctified (p. 16). The name Jehovah is not the name of God! Consequently, the name Jesus is not Christ’s name either. The name of God is so important and lost, that the LORD must restore it. The LORD said, “For then I will restore to the peoples a pure language, that they all may call on the name of the LORD {YAH}” (Zephaniah 3:9). To those who reject the true revealed name given to our Savior {YAHSHUA}, there is this warning: “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:18). To use a false name not revealed by God as God’s name is tantamount to idolatry.
IN HIS TRUTH,
Halleluyah, Praise YAH,
Praise YAHSHUA!

when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth;
for the Father is seeking such to worship Him” (John 4:23).
